| Fossil diving: | |
| Venice is the"Shark tooth capital of the world". Our waters were prehistoric feeding grounds for the ancient giant shark, Carcharocles Megalodon. Our specialized fossil hunting charters are very popular. You will find giant shark teeth, manatee bones, whale bones, prehistoric horse bones and other unique fossils. All fossil dives are in the 20-30 foot depth range allowing for plenty of bottom time. While at our shop, check out our collection of giant shark teeth - you will be impressed. The fossil diving is usually "muck diving" with average visibility of 8-10 feet the norm. But if the excitement of finding a rare tooth or other unique fossil appeals to you, then join us for some pleasant diving. Cost $69 for two tank dive trip and includes tanks/weights. |

| Wreck diving: | |
Bayronto Wreck: An old German freighter, over 450 feet long, that was sunk in 1914, still intact but upside down. Giant Jewfish, barracuda, grouper, amberjack, snapper and other visitors, make the Bayronto their home. Visibility is usually very good, but requires advanced certification due to the 100 ft depth and you must dive with a dive computer. This site is well off shore, so make sure you call in advance. The Army tanks: Five intact army tanks are standing upright in about 60 ft of water. A very unique dive with plenty of sea life. Great diving - good visibility but requires advanced certification and you must dive with a dive computer. The cost is $89.00 |

| Artificial reefs: | |
| Venice is home for a large number of artificial reefs. Concrete culverts and rubble were strategically placed on the bottom creating a unique ecosystem for a variety of sea life. These dives are known for the enormous amount of fish. Depths range between 35 ft to 65 ft. Fine diving and spear fishing. | |
| Natural Ledges: | |
| Venice was once a system of river beds and ancient shorelines. The submerged remnants of these ledges provide for some great diving. The tremendous amount of sea life on the ledges allow for good opportunities for underwater photography and spear fishing. | |
